Actavis PLC (NYSE: ACT) is a unique specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing, manufacturing and commercializing high quality generic pharmaceutical products. Actavis has commercial operations in more than 60 countries, with top 10 positions in more than 33 markets including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Nordics and Russia.
The Solution
Back in 2004 BSH started developing corporate and multiple country websites using Microsoft® Content Management Server 2002. The use of MCMS gave Actavis quick, efficient and easy to work with enterprise Web content management system.
For the needs of Actavis’ web presence we have created more than 40 regional sites in 26 languages for each country, where the conglomerate had a production, product development facility or representative office.
Through the years we have supported Actavis with expanding and developing functionality like restricted areas, implementing specific product restrictions for the different countries, changes in graphical design, creating additional country and product websites and other micro-sites for events and campaigns.
In January 2013, Actavis launched an ambitious rebranding campaign that included launching of a new corporate website and design changes for all country websites. Being a long term strategic partner, BSH was chosen to develop and implement the new Actavis corporate portal.
