The Web site provides a range of services for its numerous partners and intermediaries, including agencies, agents, brokers, sales representatives and travel agencies. In line with the corporate culture of Interamerican, the new Web site provides high performance services and helps users calculate, renew and pay their insurance policies in a timely manner through a user-friendly interface.
The Web site allows partners to purchase on-line insurance for 4 basic products – “Motor third party liability”, “Travel assistance”, “Personal accident” and “Property insurance”. With the new Web site in place, a “Motor third party liability” policy can be issued in less than a minute when there is preexisting data about the owner and the vehicle in the Interamerican IT systems. This extremely fast response is achieved both through automatic data input with information from the driver’s identity card, driving license and the vehicle’s registration, and an intuitive and user friendly interface.
Tight integration with the internal IT systems and modern scanning devices were also crucial.The Web site allows users to view and customize their personal information in a secure environment. It also provides partners with the latest news and announcements related to their Interamerican accounts, including training seminars, special products and user rights.
This advanced business solution was based on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 and fully implemented and maintained by the BSH team.
