BSH Ltd. ensured the smooth migration of the most important web processes of Ficosota to the cloud. The existing SharePoint 2010 intranet of the company was migrated to SharePoint Online – hundreds of GB of content including the existing team sites, security groups and specific permissions.
The migration included all standard SharePoint functionalities, while the customized apps remain hosted in the SharePoint on-premises. Additionally, the employees’ mailboxes in Exchange on-premises were migrated to Exchange Online.
The hybrid form of migration allowed Ficosota to take advantage of the cloud’s high reliability but keeping all business important customization on-premises.
