Sharepoint developer

Position Overview:
Sharepoint Developers work in the Development team to develop websites, intranets and business solutions using the latest SharePoint technologies.

Position Goal:
 - To work independently and as a key part of the Development Team for web project delivery
 - To deliver templates and code within agreed timelines and to customer satisfaction

Main duties and responsibilities:
 - Fully knowledgeable on developing with asp.net and C# (to most recent version).
 - Create and customize all aspects of SharePoint
 - Perform ad-hoc development tasks incorporating:
    - Web Services
    - SQL Server (programmability)
    - Integration with 3rd party API’s.
 - Packaging of customized items into features.
 - Create and maintain development sites according to specifications.
 - Provide estimates for deliverables.

Required skills:
 - HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
 - Familiarity/awareness of object oriented architectures and approaches
 - Understanding of development practices such as source control, change management and technical documentation.
 - 1-2 years previous commercial experience as a developer in a similar role
 - ASP.NET
 - C#
 - SQL Server
 - XML and XSLT
 - Understanding of web services
